Saw your question on Stealthort.com/ One thing you haven't done is answer emails about certain horses you had for sale. I finally gave up and don't look up your site anymore.  I try to answer all my emails daily. Is Stealthort your email? Is so I didn't receive any emails from this address. I would be glad to answer any questions you have. Please email me at fairplayhorse.com. Thanks, Lynn Ohara

Hi,I stumblesd onto your website through dreamhorse. I waas looking at the palominos and saw Jacks By Colors. I was trying to find out if he was by a stallion I owned, Pleasure By Colors. {Struck by lightning}. Your pedigree lists Winning Colors as his Sire and his Grandsire. I was looking through your horses for sale, and you seem to have really good horses at a fair price. I was looking for a palomino with 4 stockings and a blaze. Totally gentle as I am 65 years old and want to trail ride and enjoy. Keep up the good work. Lynda Altman lpaltman@hotmail.com

I found you in stable mates. I am looking for an older SOUND horse with excellent trail and ground manners that loads, clips. I am an older woman wanting something gentle to ride in trail clubs. Must be a quiet horse-no older than 12 or 14. I live in Macon. I dont care about pedigree at all. A grade horse around 15 hands or taller would suit me fine and under 1000 dollars possibly. Also do you take down payments and do you ship? Thank you for your time, Dorinda JOnes

You have some beautiful horses and ponies for sale. I am looking for a child safe horse for my 8 year old daughter. She has been taking lessons since last summer and is making very good progress. Is it safe to assume that unless you state otherwise most of your horses would be suitable for a beginner? Thanks, Robin

Hello Lynn, Domino is the best! He is so sweet and I love him very much. I ride Domino a lot. When we visited your farm you told us that you had just recently received Domino. At that time you had not had a chance to post him on your website. Thanks so much for showing him to my dad and mom. I'm glad we showed up when we did or someone else may have purchased him before us. I'll have many years to enjoy my new horse. Best wishes! Kaitlin Karschner

mitchell_jane@bellsouth.net Hi Lynn, Thanks for letting us ride "Leo" and "Bridges" this Saturday. How long has it been since Bridges was worked with? He has a wonderful floating gait but why is he so "wired"? He felt like electricity was running thru him. Maybe it was anxiety from being away from his herd. I know he would be great as a trail horse f he could ever take a chill pill. I will probably dream about him tonight. I love big tall horses. He is a Saddlebred is that correct? Thanks for your and your "girls" time today! Jane

Bridges is a SSH (Spotted Saddle Horse with TWH bloodline). He hasn't been ridden in a couple of weeks at least. You can email me at fairplayhorse@aol.com

I recently bought a 10 yr old paint gelding chestnut/white (mainly white) one blue eye. His name was Rembrandt I bought him at the Roanoke horse auction. I was just wondering if you could give me a little more info. on him? How long had you had him? Does he have any special training? Where did you get him from? Is he a good trail horse? Does he spook easily etc.?    I wasn't at the Roanoke auction but I understand that their was a paint gelding that I use to own there. He had some barrel training in SC before coming to my place and was then placed in training as a hunter. Very quick. Nice movement at the trot. He was purchased from one of my regular customers in SC. He was not being consistent enough for her in barrels. We did ride him trails a few times. I don't remember him giving us any trouble other than occasionally spooking. I would recommend an intermediate or better rider for him unless he has settled down with the previous owner's training.

Im still looking for a horse of my own soon. Iv seen quite a few im pleased with on your site. Iv been meaning to come by and try a few out but with school its really hard. I hope to come by soon. Id love to check out some of your horses. Im 15 now but im ready to own a horse of my own and try to get where Tiffany has gotten. Hi Lynn, Thank you so much for Leo. He is the best!!! You were right about what a great horse he is and how much fun he is to ride. We have already started trail riding and he was a gem!!! I have been teaching him to respond to leg pressure instead of the rein. He picked up instantly. He is WONDERFUL and we love him. Here is a picture of Leo (now Chief) and I just after finishing a long trail ride...he was tired. I also sent a picture of me riding him at your place. We will be watching your web site closely as we will be ready to buy a horse for my husband soon. Thank you again, Terri Couch

I was wondering about Onyx the horse that was recently in training and how much she was and I am sure you have heard from Kaitlin and we have been thinking about buying her for a while now and now we want to know how much she is for because the first time you said since she was in training she was originally for $950.

The black/dark bay mare named Onyx that was here for training was never offered for sale but I do understand they are considering selling her. She is a super nice mare with a wonderfully smooth jog trot. You can email her owners at Pbaxterone@aol.com

Lynn, I own a riding stable in Griffin where I teach English and Western lessons to all ages and skill levels. I recently bought Blue Valentine from you. I was a little reluctant to get a horse from a "horse trader" so to speak, but you were very honest with me and took the time to help me find something that you thought would work. Well, the kids have renamed him Moose, and he is the second favorite horse at our barn now. He can be ridden by absolutely anyone from 7 year old kids who have never ridden before to adult advanced riders! We are very excited to have him. I will send pictures to post on your happy customers page. I am also looking for two more horses to use for summer camps. I will definitely be back to Fairplay! My email is beohme@bellsouth.net.

Lynn, I don't know if you remember me, but I bought a QH stud (Jr) from you a year ago December (2003) and a QH mare (Carmel) just about a year ago. I just wanted to let you know that both have turned out to be wonderful horses, they are thriving, very spoiled and Carmel just had her first foal on Easter Sunday (a little Filly). Being a first time mom, it took a few hours for her to accept the foal, but now she is as protective as any mom could be. The foal is just as precious. See attached picture. I just wanted you to know I'm very pleased and that all is going well for all of us. Regards, Michelle Williams

Hi..Lots of nice horses to look at, here! I was looking for a small horse for my 6 yr old girl,(tall, almost 7). She rides and shows, but dosen't apply herself. Needs an easy to handle type. We show mostly western, and show at App shows and fairs. An easy loper would be nice. I've read your e-mails in the 'guestbook', the letters, etc. that you choose to post on you site. However, I know alittle about you & your operation. I hope that people notice that MOST of your favorable comments, letters and e-mail is from children - who love their horsees no matter what! My questions to you are: Where do you get these horses from? Are any of them vet checked and/or vaccinated before entering your facility or while staying there? Do they receive vet care (by a professional, licensed veterinarian) while at your facility? Why are there always skinny horses standing in dirt only round pens with no shelter at all during any and every kind of weather situation? Your business is a farce. You take advantage of those who do not have knowledge about horses (their age, their physical problems, diseases, etc.) and PROPER horse care. Some of the people that you use to "train" your horses are much less than humane in doing so - THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN 'TRAINED' AND 'BROKE'! Also, malnurished horses are seemingly more gentle simply because they do not have the energy to be otherwise. My heart goes out to any animal that you come in contact with. May you know their pain someday. To everyone else (whom I am sure will not see this e-mail) - BUYER BEWARE!! genahendrix@yahoo.com

Hi, I was just going to say, I rode over at Lynns for 5 years. Never once did she neglet her horses. They were well fed, groomed and cared for at all times. You were way out of lines for saying what you have said...I bought 5 horses from her and rode many horses for her over the years. Every horse that I bought and rode was very well cared for and she did know where it came from. Her horses are not skinny at all. Most are overweight..Her trainers have done ery nice jobs and "trained and Broke" the horses that she has sold.

indiancp@bellsouth.net aparently that gina person has lynn confused with another person or had a bad dream. i've been to lynn's, bought my favorite horse from her as she'd been recommended by several ADULTS who had purchased horses from her. i am also an adult with many many years in horses and i can tell you right now there are no abused, misused or neglected horses at lynn's! lynn, will tell you what she knows about any horse that you are interested in be it bad or good. i've said many times we are very fortunate to have a good honest dealer within driving range. anyone i hear of needing a horse i will certainly recommend lynn's FAIRPLAY. totally disgusted with some people, patty patty

I would just like to say the "kids" of which you speak of are probably more mature and much better riders and are well aware and much more capable of understanding if a horse is "good enough" (trained, well fed, etc)with all do respect I feel you should have come to lynn if you had any problems with the way she sells and trains her horses However I guess you gina whatever were too cowardly to do this. ~signed anonymous

Gena whoever you are...I take great offense to your comments. I am no child. I do however, adore my horse. I bought my horse from Lynn and she recommended that I bring a vet (specifically not hers) to come check my horse out before I bought him. She recommended a horse to me based on my needs. He is by no means under weight and wasn't when I first saw him. I came to see him without notice several times and he was in a barn with shelter, well fed, and obviously well cared for by Lynn's staff. If a horse is under weight, how do you know she didn't recently aquire that horse and the weight issue is not do to anything Lynn has done? Shame on you. After looking for quite some time for a horse, and nearly getting hurt by someone elses animal...I was grateful to find Lynn and her horses. You obviously should investigate more thoroughly before you try and malign someones business and character. Beware of how you treat others...it comes back to haunt you.

I would like to apoligize for another entry but I forgot a couple of things. I do know a 'little' about horses as I have been involved with and owned them for some forty years. I also have had good, well trained, HEALTHY & HAPPY horses as my partners from their youth well into their thirties (36 yrs of age). And whoever said "careful of the way you treat others, it will come back to haunt you. . . ", I certainly hope that holds true for those at Fairplay. One more thing, why should I keep quiet & "go to Lynn" if I have a problem with this place? Besides, why did everyone get up in arms? All I did was ask a couple of innocent questions. I will patiently wait on answers - FROM THE OWNERS OF FAIRPLAY. It is not my fault that they do not screen comments before they post. I've had my say. For those who will post nice little nasty retorts to my comments - I pitty your horses, too - unless you are one who RESCUED them from Fairplay - if so, Thank you! - GHendrix

Gena- I started NOT to reply to this because WHY dignify this with a response? But the more I thought about it, I decided that while the integrity of Lynn's business really isn't affected by you and your rude and ridiculous comments, ( Lynn's friends and customers know the truth!) as a part time employee at Fairplay Horse I feel like you have personally attacked ME, and I won't let that go. So here is what I have to say. You claim to know " a little" about Lynn and her operation, and judging from your comments I'd have to agree- you know VERY little. How do you think those children got the horses they dearly love? And ADULT bought it from Lynn! I first became a customer of Lynn's in 2001, I bought a pony for my oldest daughter. The mare was fat! So fat that after a month I was convinced she was pregnant, and since we didn't want a baby at the time, Lynn bent over backwards to help me get another pony. ( turns out Fatso wasn't pregnant, she was just well kept, but wait Lynn keeps her horses skinny... couldn't be I got her from Lynn!!!??!) After the kids outgrew the pony we sold her, but went right back to Lynn to find another one. We found one in the form of Checkers, yet another fat, well trained Appaloosa. Checkers will DIE on my place, he is that good. And again, Lynn bent over backwards to accommodate us in our search for Checkers. But I digress.. Since 2001 I have tried several horses and ponies at Lynn's. Bought some, and didn't buy some. She told me when one wouldn't work and she was always right. Over the past year I have become such a regular there that it seemed natural to start working there helping out. Here is where I take offense. By making these accusations against Fairplay you are saying that I MYSELF would stand back and let a horse be mistreated or neglected. So you may want to think about what spouts from your fingers before you make accusations against people you don't even know. Where do the horses come from? I can't tell you how many people show up, down on their luck with some pitiful horse for sale, hoping Lynn will buy it. Also take into consideration that a NUMBER of the horses listed on this site are consignment horses meaning that other owners are comfortable leaving their personal horses in Lynn's care to be sold. People buy a horse that is " to much" for them so they bring it there to trade it for something gentler, or they buy a plug and want to trade for something with more get up and go. No matter where they come from, they all get vaccinated the same day they arrive. Also, in the event a vet is needed, one is called, and that same vet stops by at least once a week to make sure that we aren't out of vaccines or that we don't need anything. And yes, this vet is a professional and licensed. If there are any " skinny horses" it isn't from lack of care on our end, its because it showed up that way. Yes the horses do stand in a dirt lot during part of the day, I'm not going to lie about that... but its so that the customers can see them without having to walk over a HUGE pasture (where the horses are turned out at all night every night and the rest of the day). The other horses that are on other sections of the property that don't have access to as much grass have round bales available 24/7. As far as Lynn taking advantage of an unknowledgeable horse person, I think not. Just 2 weeks ago someone inquired about a horse and she told them of an old injury that the previous owner told her about, and told the customer it may not be suitable for that customer. It needed to be a trail horse, they wanted a jumper. The next person that showed up wanted a trail horse and bought him anyway, old injury and all. I must point out that she doesn't vet check every horse that someone shows up with trying to sell her, so sometimes she gets one that has an old injury, and the person isn't honest with Lynn, its all of a sudden her fault for not telling you something that she didn't know about? Buyer Beware-- it happens to everyone, even Lynn. As far as your " innocent questions" there was nothing innocent about this and you are well aware of it. You are maliciously trying to slander a very honest and caring horse woman. If others feel as you do I invite them personally to come forward with their thoughts too, just hopefully in a much more mature way than YOU have expressed. Saying you pity someone else's horses because they don't share your opinion? Grow up. That Lynn doesn't screen comments should go to show that she is more than confident of the satisfaction of her customers. You can't please everyone, but danged if she doesn't do her best to! I sincerely hope you come out to visit Fairplay Horse again, and ask questions to gain knowledge before you make more assumptions based on your obvious limited knowledge of how this establishment runs. Have a good day. Tanya Hood

Hi. I was out of town yesterday and just had a chance to look at the recent comments on the guest page. I'm not sure who Gina Hendrix is but will try to address her misconceptions of Fairplay Horse. I'll try to do these without sounding defensive but that won't be easy. Our horses come from a wide varity of sources. I can give you a history on the majority of the horses here. If a horse doesn't have written proof of current vaccinations when he arrives, he is vaccinated then. They are also wormed upon arrival. Our vet, Dr. Kathy Harvey, usually checks in every horse that comes in. She doesn't do a "purchase exam" but does check for any problems. She and my farriers are both out at least once a week, usually more. We are very honest about our horses and will tell customers of any problems up front. We developed a trial period policy to help folks be sure they were getting the right horse for them and to allow them to have the horses checked by their own vets if desired. Our horses have access to 250 acres of pasture. They are brought up into a catch pen area when we have several customers coming out. They are not kept in there. We feed a custom mix that we developed along with our vet about 5 yrs ago. It's a 12% protein with a 6 % fat and is very high quality. The horses also free feed on a good quaily hay. As far as the training issues, I'm very particular about how the horses are handled here and do allow any "cowboying" with them. My girls that ride and train here have excellent skills and some of the softest hands of any trainers I have ever known. I'm very proud of them. Our horses are not "skinny" although I will occasionally bring in one needing some weight. Everyone at Fairplay Horse is an animal lover. We take very good care of our animals. I have thought hard and tried to place who "Gina Hendrix" is and simply cannot place her. The only person who has been out in the recent months that didn't seem pleased was an eldery lady who couldn't mount very quickly and the little horse would finally walk off before she could on. To all my customers and friends that took offense to these person's comments. Thank you for your kind words. I've meet some of the nicest people around through Fairplay. Gena, Unlike the rest of the people here, I am fairly certain that I know who you are, and infact was there the day you came to fairplay. I am there 3 or 4 times a week atleast. I have bought 3 horses from Lynn, one did not work out for my daughter, Lynn found her another horse, took that one back in trade without blinking an eye. Try that with any other horse dealer in georgia and you will be paying for your mistake, not with Lynn!! I also board my horses with Lynn and am there often,my horses are fat, happy, and very rideable. I would welcome the chance to have you come out and show me the neglected horses there, because in all my wondering around the place over the past 2 years, I have somehow overlooked them. As for the training of horses, I have come to know everyone who trains at Fairplay and concider them close personal friends, they are good at what they do and I have all the respect in the world for them. Although I am sure Lynn would love to see every horse there trained to bow down and let their rider on(you know what i'm talking about)It's just not economically possible to do so and still be able to sell good quality horses to the average person. As for the people who agree with you? I am looking up and down this page and don't see them, they must be out there with the neglected horses I overlooked. Bottom line: You were embarassed that day at Fairplay, and then humiliated when someone showed you how easy it was.Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for being embarrased and humiliated, but making up lies about an operation that you know squat about is just a bit immature for someone your age. I know how easy it must be to sit behind a computer and fire accusations at someone, but you will never be satisfied with the answers you get until you look the person in the eye who is giving the answers. So get out from behind your computer and go get your answers the way a real person would.Really, I have watched Lynn answer questions about her horses for hours at a time,so come on in and ask them. Respectfully, Steve. joeneonman@earthlink.net

I find it ludicrous that someone would first provide negative feedback regarding the type of comments on this page, then when challenged "await comment from the owners." You've chosen to publically address the horse sense of every person who comments, something you clearly can have no knowledge of. You claim to "know a thing or two" about this operation and you claim you have had feedback from others who agree with you,I see no comments or proof. You say you asked innocent questions. Yet, I see very little, if any, questioning. I see comments made by you alone. The fact that comments are not screened is a testament to the honesty of these people. You in fact have made statements but offered no proof. Clearly by the reaction your comments got, Lynn and her horses have pleased alot of people. By making your statements you have shown your own disregard, not just for Lynn and her business, but also for others who have come into contact with Fairplay. What you did was unfair. If you truly intended your comments to warn the public and you truly believe what you are saying is true, you would have come accross as someone who was concerned for the well being of Lynn's patrons. Instead you insulted both Lynn and her patrons. Sounds like someone trying to be hurtful to me. Not a concerned citizen.

The bottom line is, if your concern is truly for the horses and the patrons of Fairplay, then why not address this in the proper way? In this day and age, animal cruelty is taken very seriously. Instead you simply chose to be malicious on the pages of a guestbook. It really takes all credibility away from your statement.

Hey, believe me, matters will be addressed the proper way. And the many comments of those who have agreed with what was said by G Hendrix are being handled in another area for a more fitting result. I doubt the general public will see them. Hey, how's Mike?

Hey to all, Gena here, and Steve, if you think you know me, uh-uh. I've seen the facility and the animals but I would not wish to mount one. So, you are mistaken. I did not get embarrassed nor humiliated there. Disgusted, yes. I would not want anyone there trying to show me how to handle a horse either. I guess, though, if the horse walked away while someone was attempting to mount - that does speak volumes for the 'trainers'. Oh, and whoever is praying for me - I'm an Atheist, hun. You might want to pull that line on someone who is blinded by bible bull like you are. Ya'll know what? It has been interesting and very informative (from those who have seen what I have seen and do care) but I'm tiring of this banter because some people are so closed minded, see only what they want to see and believe what they want to believe. Obviously, until the axe falls, well, lets just say . . . Ya'll take care - I do not want nor need this comment site any longer - got all of the info I needed - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Gena, I am very sorry that you feel the way that you do. Everyone is by far entitled to their opinion. However, it is your opinion and not everyones. I, myself, and two other adults, have bought nine horses from Lynn in the past year. We bought three that we just had to take back because they just didn't work out and Lynn had absolutely no problem with that whatsoever. I have two daughters ages 11 and 14 at the time that I bought their horses and I am 40. The two other adults have children also, a boy and two girls, ages 11, 13, and 9. Every horse that we have are dearly loved, well, behaved, and exactly what Lynn told us we were getting. I have been out to Lynn's during the week to pick-up horses and have literally met the vet myself. She comes out regularly and even when called for an emergency, so I know for a fact that these horses are vetted out. Lynn has also given us vaccinations for one of the horse we bought because she just brought him home the night before from an auction so I know that she vaccinates them upon arrival. Lynn will be the first to tell you that some of her horses come from Auctions. For her to buy them there and bring them home for good horse people who want to do nothing but love and care for these animals is just an incredible feat. Yes, if you have ever experienced horse autions, some of these horses are extremely neglected and malnurished by the time they get to the auction so they are not all going to be fat and happy once they hit Lynn's facility. I for a fact bought two horses from Lynn that were from poor enviornments before she bought them, I know this because I actually have the paperwork of when they were purchased by Lynn, and when I took them to the vet and spoke to him about it he said that it takes a good nine months to a year to get them back in their tip top shape. As a long time horse owner, I would think that you would know that. All that aside, both of the two that were low in weight are doing extremely wonderful. They are exactly what I wanted for my girls and their personalities have only changed a little and not for the worst. I do know why people are striking back at you because Lynn is just so loved by all of us, and we know her to be extremely honest, I have met many of horse traders as well as barn owners and there a way too many that are just so stuck up that not all horse people are in that mode. And I am not saying that you are one of those people. If you are looking for a well trained horse why don't you take one home and ride it for about eight weeks. You have to realize that these horses have been moved from one place, sometimes the night before, and place with a bunch of horses they don't even know, and then they are bought by you, or I, or someone else, and moved again in a weeks time and you expect them to show their personality immediately. That just isn't going to happen. These horses do not come from million dollar blood lines where they are pampered from the time they hit the ground. For the price that Lynn sells these animals for you are getting the extent of the training that it has. Plus, if you want to add additional training to your horse after purchase you can do so. All the horses we have are extremely willing to learn new things and have wonderful personalities and dispositions. I realize that there are many people that think it is cruel to not have a horse in a barn 24/7 or a shelter to run under. I guess if you have a pasture that doesn't have any trees then, maybe, but horses are outdoor animals. In the wild they are outside and find shelter on their own. Again, just because in your opinion this is unacceptable, doesn't mean that it is the only way. We have a barn and we put the horses in it if needed for injury purposes only. They, all nine of them, stay outside all the time and are doing just fine. I am really sorry that you had a bad experience with Fairplay, but as you can see there are many people who just adore Lynn and their animals that they have bought from her. At first I was not very happy with the conditions there but I will tell you, when I got over there during the week and on the weekends that she was closed, it is a very different place. All the horses are out in the big pasture and they even take them back to Whitesburg where there is lush green grass for them to enjoy. So, I know at first sight it doesn't seem to be very humane, but she does have lots of traffic coming in to see anything that she has and people don't have time to wait while she goes to catch the horse that they want to try. Oh, I just thought of one more thing. The mud. The horses standing in the mud. What do you think they do in the wild? At some point in time it is going to rain for days and they are going to have to be in the wet terraine. When it is dry they are not standing in the mud. Think of Fairplay as a foster care for horses, these horses come to her from all walks of life, some good and some very bad, they are just passing through for one of us horse loving people to take them home and love them. Lynn really is a good, normal, person, she has good days and bad days just like all of us, especially women. She loves the horses and truely knows what she is doing. If she is wrong, she will admitt it and work with you on something else. I hope that you are able to find someplace and something that you feel is your match in a horse. Good luck to you in your search. Not everyone is looking for what Lynn has and that is, again, a very personal decision. The questions you asked were understandable and probably taken way out of content and I hope that I have been able to answer them for you without putting you on the defensive. With best regards, Kim Coursey P.S. Please feel free to contact me.

I want to thank Lynn for all she does. She is very caring and compasionet. I have 2 horses that she has rescued from the "killers". One is an incredible Quarter Horse named GL Kool Star. He is a beautiful and gentle creature. My 7 year old loves to crawl all over him and calls him her "baby boy". Kool is lame, he has a club foot but he is in process of healing. It appeared that only the killers wanted to bid on him at an auction but Lynn gave him a second chance. We also have a pony that was sick and half starved when Lynn rescued her. She is one of the sweetest ponies and very willing to please. She has gained weight and is doing great. It is nice to know that there are people who care enough to take a chance on the ones who have been abused and mistreated. My daughter also has a wonderful pony named Princess that we bought from Lynn and I have a great Paint named Amigo. Fairplay was recomended to me by a trainer friend of mine. One of the best recomendations I have ever gotten. We love our Fairplay horses and ponies. Thanks, Lynn for all you do! Johanna mcc2000@bellsouth.net

Hi everyone, this is Mike O’Hara. I was speaking to Lynn this morning, and she asked me if I knew “Gena Hendrix”. I told her I did not. She told me that she had put some disparaging remarks in the Fairplay Horse & Mule Guestbook, and asked how I was doing. Well for Gena Hendrix and anyone else who may be interested, I suppose it can be said that I am doing fine, thanks for asking. With regard to Lynn and the horses, I will say that she devotes a substantial amount of time to them. She is very conscientious about their health, and strives to match prospective purchasers with the horse best suited for them. The horses are fed regularly, and receive without question the best veterinary care available. If you see a skinny or sick horse there, then you can be assured that horse has had a recent change of luck for the better. Most of you won’t remember a horse called Droopy. We purchased one of the worst beat up horses I had ever seen at an auction several years ago. This horse had been beaten in the mouth so bad, his lower lip hung down like a saucer. Hence the name Droopy. Droopy had a very bad disposition, because he had been beaten nearly to death. He had large patches of bare skin, and had been nearly starved to death. The seller told us he had fallen down in the trailer. He was a bay with 4 stockings and a blaze, and Lynn thought he might be worth a little effort. We had to mix feed with water for three weeks so he could slurp it up!!! It took the better part of a year, but Droopy came around, and the last I heard, he was still kicking everyone’s butt showing English for a stable in Griffin. I’ll bet even Gina Hendrix would agree that is a better fate than becoming dog food, or an entrée at a European Bistro. It seems that too many horse people are just like affluent parents with spoiled kids; Under the guise of concern, they smugly make disparaging remarks about other peoples kids, or horses, but check out their track record helping to improve or heal, those (horses or kids) who are less fortunate. Not very good, they spend all of their resources pampering their own (kids or horses) to make themselves look good. Well Gena, how is the view from the front row of the balcony you put yourself on? I’ll bet it’s a pretty good place from which to throw those cheap shots. Any questions? Email me: oharram@bellsouth.net

I think at this point everyone has pretty much gotten their point across, but I must put my two cents worth in. Gena, I request that you contact me personally in order that we may talk. Not all people have the same opinion, if we did we would be very dull people indeed! You posted some very mean things on this website and then watched it daily in order to be able to send more "backlash". I agree that there are people who are unsatisfied with Lynn and Fairplay. Show me a company with 100% support! It doesn't exist. I have known Lynn for over 5 years. I have bought 6 horses from Lynn over the years and have loved each and every one of them dearly. You say that anyone that deals with Lynn has "little horse sense", well, I beg to differ. I grew up with horses, my grandfather bred and raised registered quarter horses. My grandfather was a wonderful trainer and instilled in his children and grandchildren on how a horse should be handled. I have 3 daughters that Lynn has taught to ride. Lynn did such a wonderful job, that my oldest daughter who is 13 was able to train her own horse. Please note that I said train not broke. Lynn has many people that support her. Anyone that wishes an honest opinion, please contact me. If you wish to meet me in person and see a few of the horses that I have bought from Lynn over the years, I welcome anyone. If you have a problem with Lynn, pick up the phone or go by and see her----she has always bent over backwards to fix any problems with her customers. 'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. To the future customers of Fairplay. Lynn O'Hara is the fairest horse trader I have met. While I was at Fairplay I never saw her lie, cheat or knowingly sell a horse that was bad. She treated all her horses with care and consideration. To accuse Lynn of not loving animals is such a farce. As far as her treatment of customers, I have seen Lynn go out of her way to discourage a buyer from a horse that is way too much for them to handle, I have seen her explain in detail a history of a horse if she knows it even if revealing certain details means she would lose a sale. I have seen her work weeks with a customer, hours at a time, until that person found the horse they wanted. I have seen many horses that came into Fairplay looking bad and "down on their luck" and some were sold quickly to good homes and some were put out to the big pasture until they were brought back to health. It is hard to work with so many horses but Lynn always did a good job when I was there. There are no perfect places or perfect people and places do change, but the heart of the Lynn I knew would not allow the things you accuse her of. I have two horses from Lynn, my mother purchased a horse from Lynn and my sister in law purchased a horse from Lynn. Every horse was exactly what we were told they would be. When buying a horse from a big stable a person must expect that the horse is not going to be getting the individual care that a small owner or stable can give. It is just not possible. When buying horses you always have to be buyer beware, no one can ever be 100% sure about any horse. They are animals. Sure there are people buying who have never been around horses, but those are the ones that are usually willing to listen to what kind of horse they need. I never saw Lynn knowlingly sell a sick, lame horse to anyone while I was there (and trust me I was there a lot for about one year). Lynn can only educate people so far, it is up to the people to get vet checks. I have never seen Lynn discourage one. In my experience it has been the people who have been in "lessons" for a year or two that tend to want more than they can handle or think they don't need any advice. They tend to have just enough knowledge to get themselves into trouble. While I was at Lynn's those were the people that seemed to be the most dissatisfied and frustrated with the horses brought to them. Many times they were not able to see true potential and make up of a horse. Lynn always evaluated their true level and many were angry at that from the git go. Please understand, Lynn gets the horses from many avenues. Most are from homes where they were left out to pasture and are "rough" because of that. They have not been given attention or worked with and are not fine tuned under the saddle. That does not mean they are "barely broke". My sister in law got a horse that was by eveyone's account green broke. That is the way Lynn explained it to her and expressed her reservation at my SIL's getting a horse at that level with my SIL being so new to riding. Lynn was honest with her at every step. Lynn's honesty kept my SIL safe as she took her time with the horse and she worked slowly and diligently with the horse. Today she has a beautiful well behaved animal she loves. I would go back and get another horse from Lynn because I know that she will shoot straight about her horse. When you go ask questions, go informed and have an idea of what you want in a horse. She was always willing to take her time and work with you until you find the right horse. She will back up her sale to you and is willing to work with anyone who has a problem. And for anyone wondering if I was put up to this "glowing endorsement", trust me it was totally unsolicited and I am sure totally unexpected. Oh yeah, when you do buy a horse from Lynn, get the feed. It is the best I have found. Holly Garmon P.S. Lynn, the kids do ask about you often and truly love Chief. He is the best pony anyone could have. Is there any way I can come get some feed?

OMG! I am not what someone would consider a regular customer or definately not a personal friend friend of Lynn's or her establishment, But I do frequent her websight on a fairly regular basis and I'm just appalled by the accusations of just this "one" person! I say one because I've yet to see another negative reply than anyone but this Gena Hendrix. I have over 25 years of all walks with horses and ran across FairPlay's sight in searching for a good childs horse for my kids I did inquire about a few horses she had at the time and she quickly replied with honest "opinions" about each horses suitability to being a kids horse. I ended up going to her place to try the one out that ended up being everything she said he was, but just a bit too much for my then 4yr. daughter. I did get to see all the horses with water and hay in front of them while I was there and were all recieving there grain as I was about to leave. I could not believe how honest Lynn was and how well cared for her horses all were (speaking of I forgot to add that when I first showed up she was just finishing worming all the horses) In all my years with horses I've never ran across such an honest horse dealer and forth coming of ANY information be it bad or good! I've since been out there on two other occasions, one to take a friend to look at some barrel prospects, and the other to trade for a larger horse trailer. I would not hesitate to buy a horse(s) from Lynn and have recommended several friends to her place. And Lynn, I wouldn't fret much about this slandering person because I think you do a Super Job keeping up a ggod reputation for yourself and your horses that one person can't even begin to put a dent in! Also what a better blessing to one day stand before "our" Creator and maybe learn that all your honesty and goodness also helped a "lost" person to become "saved" through the power of prayer from all your good, loyal friends and customers!!! Prayers going out to Gena and that FairPlay and Lynn's family will still continue to be BLESSED!!! Karie Raine, kraine@charter.net

Gina, I would just like to say this is not another comment to bash you. However I do find it hard to believe you can sit at your computer and ask your "questions" oh so rudely I mean come on there was not a nicer way to ask your innocent questioins? Even if you felt the way the horses were treated were that bad. It just amazes me how any person can just sit there and basicaly if you think about it high school gossip she said that he said blah blah until you have actually come out to the premisis how do you honestly know how things work. But tell you the truth you don't have to take my word for it nor anyone elses after all this is a free country and you have the right to speak your own opinion but your also not supposed to slander someones elses good name. But I think this subject is closed and if you honestly expected everyone who saw your comment to automatically side with you I find that amazing obviously if this many ppl have defended lynn and stood by her so far don't you think that means she is running a fair business? Needless to say everyone else has basically made it clear lynn is a good person and I don't give a dang whether or not you think she is or not. I believe as well as others that she is and that is all that matters.

HI, A COUPLE YEARS AGO, YOU HAD A HORSE NAMED 'SPANO SAM', YOU SAID HE WAS A FAST LEARNER, AND YOU WERE WORKING WITH HIM, WHAT EVER HAPPEND TO HIM?

Sam is still here. We decided to keep him as I had never seen a horse with his personality and talent. We had him about 3 yrs. I rarely get time to ride my personal horses and he is way too fat! I plan to try to get him back into shape and offer him for sale in a few month.

Fairplay is the most used site on my favorites list! I love to look at all the horses. I have purchased several horses from Lynn and they have always been as she indicated. The only "poor" horse I ever bought was one she had only recently brought to her place and I snapped her up because she is a good one I knew I could rehab her as well as anyone. When I needed to sell her I brought her back to consign and felt confident she would be well taken care of while there. Recently I bought a horse who just didn't work for us. Lynn was really sweet about it and said, "It's okay to change your mind, I do it all the time!" We took him back and got another great pony which my kids fight over. He is fat and healthy. Thanks Lynn for being there for a compulsive pony purchaser with post purchase panic! I will keep sending you my friends to buy your horses. PandLCobb@msn.com

look lady monzilla or whatever, I am sorry that you think that about Lynn and her horses at fairplay but if you dont like this place, leave and go somewhere else. I have purchased a horse if you look on the recently sold list who is smokey and he is rather skinny, but h is a wonderful animal and he is doing FINE now. Lynn is a wonderful person and she absolutly does not take advantage of the people that come here without horse sense. I am the daughter of Kimberly Coursey and she has purchased 3 horses from this place and her friend 5 so if you think that Lynn has no horse sense then you should look into getting some yourself. as for Lyn I love your place and you keep it up NO MATTER WHAT THIS LADY SAYS!!!

Lynn and all at Fairplay Horse and Mule, We have bought several horses from Fairplay over the past 7 years. Also we have sold horses and got Lynn to sell horses for us. Lynn, you have always been honest with us and treated us very fair. Your horses are well taken care of and healthy. We have seen you "rescue" horses and bring out the best in them. It has been a pleasure knowing you and doing business with you over the years. We plan to continue to do so and refer others to you. Thanks and keep up the good work...You will be blessed. I just finished reading some of the recent comments in the guest book and would like to add my own. First of all, I own a riding stable and am very particular about my horses and their care. I give riding lessons and board horses. I use natural horsemanship techniques in training the horses and teach my students to ride with an emphasis in Dressage principles. My horses receive the best of care and are kept healthy and happy. I have always been taught that one should never buy a horse from an auction or from a horse trader because you don't know what you are getting. I happened upon Lynn's website about 3 years ago and after looking at it over and over, finally went and checked the place out. The first time I went out there, I was not sure what to make of it because yes, some horses were standing tied and some were in round pens without shelter; but I did not jump to conclusions. I decided to delve deeper first. I have dealt with Lynn a lot in the past few months and have learned that she is 3 things: 1. A good business person 2. A good horse person 3. A good person in general I have one horse that I got from her that anyone at all can ride; I have two horses on lease from her to use in my summer camps (both of whom anyone at all can ride); and I have sent two of my riding students to get horses from her. Just recently I was looking for a pony to use in my summer camps. I came out to her place with a couple in mind that I had seen on the website. We went out to the "catch area" to look at them. As we walked up to the one I was most interested in, it pinned its ears back at us, and just from that Lynn said "No, I don't like that attitude, let's look at something else". Lynn will work with you as long as it takes to get it right. But, you have to let her know if something isn't right; she doesn't read minds. She will tell you everything she knows about a particular horse and will do her best to make that perfect match between horse and rider. Think about it; she wants people to be pleased with her so that she can continue to do what she does. Why should she sell a horse to you that she knows is not right for you when she knows the right person won't be far behind? Does she always get it right? Maybe not, but none of us make it 100% of the time. Are all of her horses in top shape? No, but if not, there's a good reason for it. Anyone who has been out to Fairplay more than once knows that the horses are not being abused, neglected, etc. Customer comments speak for themselves. And, there will always be one bad apple in the barrel. Anyway, I will definitely continue to deal with Lynn O'Hara and Fairplay Horse and Mule. Thanks Lynn for all the help, Jessica

I have looked at your Website almost every day for a year and a half. I love it, it's part of my daily routine, although I think my husband is tired of me saying "Oh, come look at this one isn't it beautiful" I guess I have it bad. Hopefully I will realize my dream soon. I appreciate the fact that all your horses look to very sound and healthy. I would be very confident in purchasing from Fairplay. I am thrilled that a place close to home has such a well put together web site. I am also in Douglasville, and am looking into purchasing a horse within the next couple of months. I will need a trailer as well. I will definately come talk with you when the time comes, and we are ready to purchase. My Daughter has a reg. QH already, but we want to add #2 for me and my son to ride. I do know I will need a horse which is good for a beginner, due to my son not having a lot of exp. After looking over your site I do not think that will be a problem at all, since you have so many to choose from. : ) TandP678@aol.com and my name is Priscilla

Hi Ms Lynn - A friend suggested I see some of the misguided comments and document my own - though it is pretty obvious that your support is over whelming !! I have two young children that had never set on a horse,we found Fairplay and now we are the very proud owners of two healthy horses - from Fairplay. The children recieved lessons and advise, and attention from all the people there. I have enough horse experience to beieve I was never misled or lied to and I trust Lynn to pick out the next horse for our family. We have missed going to Fairplay and wish only continued success !!!

Hi! I enjoyed your website! I'm looking for a gentle, older (10-15 yrs. old) horse to buy. I prefer a gelding. I'm pushing 60, &, haven't ridden in almost 30 yrs. Prefer over 14-15hh, grade, quarter horse type that will get along with another gelding 4 pasture/trail riding. I ride English, but, western would be great, too! Must be sound! Also interested in riding lessons & purchasing some tack. Anxiously awaiting your reply! Oh, Buddy, the 12-yr. old 15hh stocky gelding interests me - is he sold? cathymorris@webtv.net

I have not personally met Lynn O'Hara but have communicated with her via e-mail...she has been nothing but polite and forthcoming about every horse I asked about (even down to cosmetic blemishes :)) She also very patiently explained the deposit/consignment policies. I will definitely keep her place in mind when ready to purchase! Ms. Hendrix, if you don't like her place, then don't buy from her...or better yet, have the courtesy to speak to her directly! The things you are spewing out are just nasty (and I DO know a thing or two about horses and am well past the age of 40). Lynn, thanks for answering my questions and hope to see you soon! Jodee6505

I enjoy brousing the web site, and reading comments by other people. Whoever it is that keeps putting the junk on here is quite annoying, and very childish. I wish they would not ruin the enjoyment of others that are watching the site for just the right horse. Keep up the good work Fairplay.

Hey Lynn, I was wondering if a X-Cross Crounty Jumper would be a great Second horse for a person who has no fears of HORSES and would or has gotten on a WILD HORSE bareback and bucked off but got right back on? His name is Chipper and he is Black TB and 17.2hh Horse. (Her name is Kristen) this is Sabrina by the way, has sid had a Racing history because he looks like he has before and evrytime I ride him its like I am on cloud!!!!! Any ways, getting back to Chipper... Go to Horse Topia .com and go to horses for sell and on page 2 it is probably the first or third horse we saw and umm... by the way he is 7 years old would that be a good age for a horse to still be jumping in shows? Well I have got to go E-mail me back at Fpookie31@aol.com Thanks Lynn!!!:) Sabrina Fann Loves Sid

Great job on your website. I am wondering whether you take trades? We have a sorrel horse, Dixie, who was ridden plenty on weekends but has not been ridden in about 2 yrs., according to the previous owners. We are interested in a DEAD broke, bomb proof, push button horse for my tiny 10 yr. old who took a bad fall (because of a pack of dogs scaring the horses) and hasn't been confident since. We need a really trustworthy large pony or sm horse, most any color/type except flea bitten grey, although we love bays and paints. We must get rid of Dixie 1st as we are building & our pasture is temp. smaller than usual. Interested? Thanks Karon @ juliana_jacq@yahoo.com or 770-777-6753

Hi Lynn, Just a BIG THANK YOU-want you to know that Bask Sandune or whatever you called her was exactly as described, She tolerated me (and I know tired from the long trailer ride) hoping on her bareback and letting her ride me around the dark and in a "brand new to her" yard with just a halter and lead-not the first spook, flap or snort (and for an arab of any age Im very very impressed). Im THRILLED to be back ON THE BACK of a horse instead of being the one on the ground telling others how to ride and doing all the "grunt" work from the ground. Tho I buy n sell n trade horses this one is a keeper for me to give me back what my broken leg took away in confidence and balance. My broken neck 6 years ago in a freak horse accident (horse fell at the canter) slowed me way down and made me extremely cautious about what I got on but never kept me off horses, but my mangled foot and my not being able to "bounce when I hit the ground" age has kept my off the back of any horses since March 04-Dune was the first I climbed up on since that fate ful day when my leg snapped in 3 places and I felt very comfortable and trusting how safe you said she was-and she did nothing but prove you right. You were a very comfortable person to deal with, and as a small scale horse trader myself I can say that honesty speaks volumes in the world of buying selling and trading horses. And I feel very reassured that my joke of a little pony, despite my sarcastic humor towards him, is going to the right place for re-training and will find a home thru you where he will realize his full potential! Thanks again Lynn n Mike and I can assure you Ill be shopping your site regularly for a couple more! Sincerely, Cynthia James-Plant City, FL

Hi, I was just here to look at the mare you have posted on dreamhorse.com and i saw a mare on here that I've known for years. Ima Bonanza Sky, or Clover as we called her, is a gorgeous mare. I'm glad you guys have been riding her as I know her previous owner didnt ride her much. I have her first foal and if you want pictures of him to perhaps help with the selling of the mare, let me know. Thanks. dehydratedpickle@hotmail.com

I bought a 13h pony, Mia, from Lynn off of this website a month ago. I live 5 hrs away from her and bought the pony strictly off of what she told me. I have never bought a horse/pony sight unseen before. I had her delivered to me and we have been thrilled ever since! This pony was for my 7yr old daughter. The pony is everything Lynn told me plus more!!! My daughter loves her and rides her almost every day. The pony is 3 yrs old and my 7 yr old rides her and has been teaching her all sorts of great stuff. My daughter renamed her Rosie. This pony has great sense and is very smart, just as Lynn told me she would be. She is also much prettier than pictures showed her to be! I am very impressed with Lynn's honesty and accuracy in describing this pony. I needed a great pony for my daughter who is a timid rider. She sold me the right one!!! My daughter is losing her timidness quick with such a great animal! When my son is ready to move to a bigger one, I will be right back on this site shopping again. Erica and I thank you Lynn!

Lynn, Just wanted to let you know STAR is wonderful....the Hansom BIG boy (16.2) I bought for myself, has been taken him away from me by my daughter, Lauren. They have bonded soooo well... They remind me of me and my 1st horse... I didnt have the heart to tell her his was mine... We have taken STAR out on 2 rides at McIntosh-- couldnt have asked for better behavior...Lauren and STAR jumped every log they could. STAR is BEAUTIFUL... inside and out. Thanks ..... It's great to watch your child grow up with the same love you had as a kid.... Now I understand how my mom felt when she watched me ... with my equestrin BEST FRIEND... Kym Woodruff Temple GA

I took Pappy Bar Leo for a trial period and really loved him. He was sweet, willing and easy to stop. I just really need a taller horse since I am tall to compete in my type of shows. If it weren't for that I would definitly have kept him. Laurie Dorr dorizonfarms@alltel.net

Hello my name is Lori Calloway. I fell in love with just about all of your horses for sell. I am trying to sell my arabian right now because he is just to much to handle for my age and strength. I will definitely keep your website in my mind after I have sold him. My e-mail address is addicted2coffee81602@yahoo.com. If ya'll trade horses or know someone who would like an arabian to start training their way please let me know.

You sure have some beautiful horses on your site! I will be sure to keep you in mind. The mare I have now I have had for 13 years and she is the love of my life and will keep her forever, but by next year I would like to find a rideable fun trail horse that my husband and son can learn to ride on! Preferrably a dapple gray around 15hands! I saw Kate on your website and she is absolutely beautiful, but would need something a little taller. Courtneyp1210@yahoo.com

I just purchased Little Bit and a beautiful Palomino from Fair Play Horse. My family and I are very happy. We did have the pony named Riffy on hold for my oldest son, but he decided he would not have enough time to spend with Riffy. Riffy would be a great addition to any family with young children. He was very gentle and patient. I wish he could have come home with us! Congratulations to whoever purchases him!

Hello Lynn, I was writing to tell you that my mother nd i are finally getting weight on Smokie. Mrs. Daba and My mom figured out that the reason that he was not gaining it was because he was getting his feed taken away at feed time y all the other horses... we figured at first that it was ok but it wasnt... so mr Jeff made a place where Smokie could go to eat and when he was done we would just let him out... no other horses can get in to take his feed... he looks great.. i am very pleased to say i am riding a RACEHORSE in a hackamore..... WOW.. thank you so much i am soo happy to have a wonderful animal... see you soon maybe Alyssa Coursey Kimberly Coursey's Daughter

Hello from Macon ~ Had a great trip back, my newest addition (16' bumper pull) pulled easily, very steady with solid dependability, and during Atlanta rush hour to boot! lol Needless to say, I'm pleased not only with it, but with the price as well. Thank you, to you and Sarah both, for making my visit/purchase smooth and pleasant. If only everything in life were this easy :-} Kim wyldheartlabs1@aol.com btw, if you come across a well made, decently priced english (jump) or aussie (poley) saddle, keep me in mind? thanks!  Glad you had a good trip home. We had some saddles you might have liked. Stop back by if you get a chance. Very nice doing business with you. Lynn

Well about six months ago I bought two mares from Lynn and have been very happy with them.I know some people have issues about the care of the horses there,I was not impressed by the teen boy working a mare while I was there in a "cowboy"way.Other then that I was not turned off by anything else there.First off both mares had a clean bill of health and were up to date on all shots and worming.I have read about people saying that you take advantage of people without knowledge,I find that untrue,I have trained at John Lyons for years and have a degree in equine massage so have some background. My advise to people who feel this is a scam, shop somewhere else, but remember when buying horses it is a buisness like anything else you buy.But bottom line is my horses are and werein good health and I got a great dressage prospect out of the deal,so buy somewhere else or shut the hell up because no one cares about your little opinion...Have a great day, thanks again Lynn for my lovely mares,Dustin Michaels.......Dustinmichaels@att.net     Thank you for the comments. Glad you are happy with your mares! The young man you referred to is not employed here anymore. I wasn't impressed either. Lynn

Lynn, thanks for letting me roam your paddocks a few Sunday's ago. I was impressed with your operation. I am still looking for a horse. Rider: Beginner Intermediate/Intermediate skill level, owned and rode for years as a teenager, not intimidated but has respect for horses, have been taking a refresher course of lessons for more than a month. Horse: around 14.3 or 15 hands, 8-10YO, trail riding for a while but might try barrels or poles this summer, would like some color but that isn't the most improtant feature I am looking for. Thanks for your time and let me know if you have anything over the next couple of months that would be appropriate. I will continue to check out your website and will probably visit your place a couple more times. danalong@bellsouth.net

I don't care about color or any picky things! email> xpalmxtreesx@yahoo.com

I like the info youprovide on the horses. Quality looks good. I see a couple of horses that look interesting to me. I am looking for a "teenaged-horse" gelding. Between 13-2 and 14-3 for myself...(small woman). I am looking for a very calm and gentle, well-trained horse. Thanks, Cheryl norske50@comcast.net

I am very impressed with your website and am glad I stumbled upon it!! When we're ready to purchase some horses, we will definitely check your place out FIRST. I like the comments made about your place and before even reading them, knew that just offering the "trial period" that you ran an honest business. The comments just reinforced this. You've got a great selection of horses. It's going to be a hard decision to pick out the "right" horse! We've been getting our place ready, doing the work ourselves, so it's been a slow process; however, we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now. Thank goodness, as I'm so anxious to be a horse owner again!! I look forward to meeting you and our future visit to your place. Valerie Robinson, McDonough, GA KaySerRa2@aol.com

I would love to find another gelding around 8 or 9 years old. Just surfing the web tonight. Found your site. It looks very good. I was impressed with the variety of horses. I will be in the market in the next 12 months. Please take the next comments with the love that it was intended. Your website is wonderful and very helpful. There are several typos and misspelled words. Sorry for that. Just wanted your site to be as professional as you seem to be. Your new viewer Kevin. feg0701@yahoo.com

Kevin, If you are referring to the comments page-I have no control over the spelling or wording that is used. If you are referring to the actual descriptions and ads, then it's my error. Probably because I'm usually up at 3 to 4 am to work on it and would be surprised at that and will try to watch it. Thanks, Lynn

Hello. My name is Michelle Watrin. I work at Chateau Elan Equestrian Center in Braselton Ga. I own a 5 years old gelding and currently he is living at another barn. I am in the process of moving into a new house with a barn and large pasture and needed to get him a friend. I was looking at Silver, Invincible Cisco, and Ednei Te. If you could send me some more information that would be great! I think I like Sivler the best so far so anything you could send me would be great! Thanks for your time! michelle@panozgroup.net

Hey Mrs.Lynn, thanks for all your help with Dash. I am so excited about him coming. I can't stop thinking about him. I have to keep telling my self that I have to wait till Sun. My dad will be out of town so since Robin knows how excited I am she is going to bring our trailer to pick him up. He will deff. be well taken care of and loved. Bailey and I really enjoyed coming up and visitng, it had been a long time and it was nice to see all the horses you have. The thing that me and my mom always say when we talk about where Dash is coming from is that you are one of the most honest people we have ever met in the horse world. I thank you for all your help and I will see you on Sun. Thanks again. ~Leila happyappy106@yahoo.com ~

Lynn, I just wanted to say thanks for everything you have done for my clients and myself. Four of my clients have gotten horses from you, I have gotten one for myself, and I am getting a pony from you tomorrow. All of the horses that my clients and I have gotten from you are currently being used in the lesson program at my stable, where they are ridden by riders of all ages and skill levels. You are the only "horsetrader", so to speak, that I will refer people to when they are looking for horses. You have always been very honest with me and willing to take the time that I need in order to find the right equine, whether it's for myself or a client. I will definitely continue to refer people to you. I really applaud you for your new program in which you separate and will not sell new horses until they have been through a worming and vaccination program. That has to be time- and money-consuming for you. But, it is a great benefit for the horses and the people who buy them. You also have a great website that I enjoy looking at every few days. Keep up the good work. Jessica Owner/Instructor of Eagle Creek Equestrian Center beohme@bellsouth.net

Hello, My Name is A Step in Tyme but most of my friends call me Dash. I'm called A Step in Tyme because if you look at my face you see an hour glass. I'm about 13.3 hands, and I am bay durning to summer I am a bright bay and durning to winter I turn into a dark bay. Yesterday some trainer person came to ride me and seemed to like me very much. She used words like buy Dash before he gets gone and this is such a Leila pony. I'm a North Carolina state champ on the hunter circut, I have a lot of 1st in my hall of fame, I have to be first at everything, and though I may be small I have the heart and will of any big horse. I love to jump, I have jumped up to 4 ft before. It was a big jump but I loved ever second of it. I have been told I will be going to a new barn on Sun. Somewhere far away, where the horses get treated like they are in heaven. I think I heard it was called Shady Willow. They said there was a 15 year old girl there that was going to take very good care of me and love me. They said she was short like me and loves to jump too. I heard them say that I will have a big brother too, his name is Red and he is much bigger then me. They say that I am going to be his toy and that he is going to protect me and hate anytime I go away. I also heard that you will be coming to see me next week and that I will get to show off for you. I am very excited for my new plans in life. I will be so thrilled to have some little girl to love and take care of me. ~Your Friend~ ~ A Step in Tyme Aka Dash ~ "All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl" I love Red 161!

Hi Lynn. It's Emily Wilkinson. We bought Ima Beaut (Apache)from you about 4 years ago. Just thought I'd drop by and let you know how he's doing. He is so fat and sassy! He thinks thinks he's king of the world! (He is king of the world to me!) He has gotten so much personality! he's learned to untie slip knots so we have to be careful now! We have worked together and have learned to rodeo. We do mostly local stuff but will start with the Ga/ Fl Youth Rode team next year. This past summer we won our first jackpot rodeo in barrel racing with 3rd place ad won $19! It's not alot but just to win it was so wonderful! He's come such a long way from the first day we got him! He's blessed me and made me a better person in so many ways you'd never think a horse could! Just wanted to say thanks and hopefully I'll get some rodeo pictures to you sometime soon! Best Wishes, Emily Wilkinson. dandycowgirl@wmconnect.com

Lynn, I wanted you to know that China (pretty angel) is doing fine. She has settled in nicely. She is very sweet and laid-back. She doesn't have a typical "pony attitude", but is very gentle. I had one of my smaller intermediate riders work her yesterday in the arena. This little girl is 9 years old, but very small for her age. She had no problems handling, grooming (including picking hooves), or tacking China up by herself. China was very cooperative at the walk and trot. Then Sydney's brother (who is 10) got on her and made her canter. They both rode her today in the arena and did lots of cantering on her and she was great! I am SO excited to have found her! She is going to be a great all-around lesson pony! :) Thanks for helping me find another wonderful equine friend. I will send updated pictures of her when I get some. Lynn, Just a note to let you know that we got Lazarus home in fine shape. Today Cheryl rode him in the small round pen and in a larger pasture. Later a couple of the other kids rode him too. I was interested how he did in the woods and trail. He was really fantastic. I asked him to travel through the woods, over logs, up large rocks, through very tight places, up hills and through ditches and the little fellow never even hesitated. He went wherever I asked him to go. What a great little gelding. Thanks, Doug & Cheryl Glover Eastern Gate Farm easterngate@comcast.net

I love this site, We have a 30 year old mare that would just love a pal, we had another horse but had to sell her and looking for a family horse that my two young children can grow up around, I am sure we will find it here, I am in love with Bo! I really enjoy how you have the photos of them with their new families, it is very heartworming, (still sad about the recent sale of my 15 yr old mare, but noone clould ride her but me)Thank you again, Love the site, Wendy gribbin@netscape.com

Dear Lynn, I was wondering if Serago would be compatible for a four to eight year old. If not what would be a good pony for their age, preferably a gelding? I am also looking for a horse for my son and me. It would need to be a nice, easy-going, English pleasure gelding/mare, which is over 15 HH. What would you suggest? Tracy tstringer@familink.com

It is very sad that someone has to be so ugly and post useless links to your Guestbook. Their parents obviously never taught them any manners. How pathetic! Keep up the good work Lynn, you are a great horse person. Virginia vwilson@ch2m.com

Hi my name is ashlee. I live in indiana. i was just looking at the horses that you have for sale. I was very interested in the mare that has the blue eyes. She is very gorgeous. I have four horses but i can only ride one of them. I have two thoroughbreds, a standardbred, and a halflinger. One of my thoroughbreds and my standardbred were exrace horses.I dont ride them. But i do ride the other thoroughbred. I dont know if i want to keep the ones that i have that i cant ride or sell them and get ones that i can ride. Do you have any suggestions? If you do please email me at horsey_gurl_88@yahoo.com. Thank you. and i love your website.

hi lynn, i was looking over all your comments and read about that Gena Hendrix person. She sounds familiar for some strange reason but i dont know. I am very impressed by your horses, and i can tell that they are very well taking care of. I love your stallions especially Best At Bein Cool(i think thats his name) coat color! Its very unique! I am looking for a under 10 over 15.2hh tb mare or warmblood type for eventing type stuff, if you ever have any come in ill be very interested! I remember when i was younger I found your site and there was the most cutest palomino gelding on here named pistol! I wanted that horse so bad, but by the time i had a chance he was sold. I was so sad about you selling him. But now i got 3 wondeful horses. Do you buy horses from people. I have a horse I have to sell before i get a new one (my mom wont allow me to get another till i sell one) but he is a great horse! Would you mind putting him on your website? It would be greatly appreciated! Please email me back, for i dont look at the comments often. flyingoverbarrels@yahoo.com is my email! Please email me with your answer! Happy new years! <3 Tricia
