Wow!

We've collected so many "Happy Customer Notes" in such a short time! We had to rebuild the page after losing our old Happy Customer page due to a web site crash.

Hey Lynn,  Here are some pictures of Oh Sweet Dolly.  She is a sweetheart. We do a little bit of everything, as you can see---shows, play days, ACTHA, Cowboy Challenges, Benefit rides, and of course just plain fun around the house.  Thank-you for introducing us!

Hey Lynn, just an update on Sam & Stats.  They are doing great. They just placed 2nd. out of 16 riders in the OPEN division (adults and exp. riders) of the Cowboy Challenge yesterday! They are still doing drill team, as well as shows, ACTHA, parades, and whatever else they can think of.  Here are some pictures of them.

Lynn,

We bought Prince aka "Northern Lite" from you in January after our daughter, Abby, lost her horse, Ruby.  When he was delivered, it was so wonderful to see the light back in Abby's eyes.  We renamed him Prince because he is treated like one and looks so regal when he trots.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to work with you.  Prince has been a delight to have and has brought so much joy to everyone.  He is gaining weight. looking good, and has taken his place in the "pecking order" at the farm, (Trust me, he has placed himself pretty high up!)  Abby is planning to take him to camp with her this summer.

Thank you again for all you did for us.  We will be looking to purchase another horse very soon, and will be coming back to you.

Michele Schintzius

Dear Lynn,

I wanted to thank you again for providing such wonderful customer service and honesty in your horse business. Many horse people strive to develop the reputable business that you have actually achieved.

My daughter and I first purchased a horse from you in 2006:  a 2002 AQHA bay roan mare named JA Docs Reed. She has proven to be an awesome horse and has given my daughter and I many hours of fun and enjoyment, especially when we moved to Montana with her and our other horses a few years ago. Reed proved to be awesome on cattle drives, and very handy and surefooted in the mountains. She was also a great mom when she foaled a colt by a cutting horse stallion last summer. When we decided to move back to Georgia, we made the very difficult decision to leave Reed with some friends of ours in Horse Prairie, Montana where they own a large working cattle ranch and outfitting company. Once we were settled back in Georgia, the first place we turned to in order to find my daughter another horse was Fairplay Horse & Mule Company. We knew that we would be dealt with fairly and honestly. Luckily, we have now found an Arabian mare, Dancer, that we are looking forward to welcoming into our horse family from Fairplay.

As an aside, I would like to state that I was previously a professional horse trainer and am now a licensed equine veterinarian. When I lived in Montana, I worked as Associate Professor of Equine Studies in the University of Montana Western's Equine Studies Program. This university has the only degree program in Natural Horsemanship offered in the U.S.  Because I was familiar with Fairplay Horse & Mule Company, and had first hand knowledge of Lynn and her staff's honesty, integrity, and professionalism, I utilized her website for many of my classes. Not only to show conformation of a variety of breeds (photos of each horse provided in their "other views") and then compared that conformation to how the horses' moved in their videos; but to also highlight how ethics in the horse world are not only possible, but desirable, because that more than anything else will allow an equine business to have longevity and success. Word of mouth can make or break someone very quickly in the equine industry.

Lynn, you are to be commended for your success. And as someone that has purchased horses from you in the past, rest assured that if I find a need for another horse to add to our family, I will turn to you again for assistance, as well as recommending you to my clients that may also be looking for a horse.

Thank you,
M. Nanette Chastine, DVM

Dear Lynn,
I just had to share some photos from today. Mr Wiggles (Scout) is my
dream pony. He is absolutely awesome. I just cannot thank you enough
for working with me so I could purchase him. He is more than I had
ever hoped for. I may try to enter him in a few local shows this
spring to see how we do. :)
There are some photos of my kids on Tonto, too - we all rode yesterday
and today and the kids didn't want to get off. This is a first and I
hope it continues. It has always been my dream to share my passion for
horses with my children....I think they may finally be catching the
horsie bug. :).

Many, many thank yous - we purchased both of these wonderful ponies from you and I continue to tell my horse friends about you.

God Bless, Virginia Wilson

Hi Lynn!!
My son and I rode the ponies today. I lunged Mr. Wiggles (Scout)
first, then climbed on. He was good, but as you put it, "spunky."
Nothing bad, I think he wanted to run and play rather than be worked.
We only walked today; tried some leg yields - and he actually did
them! Too wet, cold and windy to do much else. I am in love though - I
believe he is perfect for us. We are VERY happy repeats!!
Thank you again for everything,
Virginia

Hi Lynn,

Tiffany and "Chip" did wonderful at their first horse show.  We are so lucky to have bought him from you as he has turned out to be one fantastic horse.  He has a forever home with us. Thank you for your assistance in finding the right horse for her.

Catherine rode Limited Edition on a short trail ride and she did great.  She is very happy with her and is looking forward to teaching "Barbie" flexing and moving off the leg.  I will send you a picture of them very soon.

Thanks so much !!

We have been through several ponies to find Sugar. She came to us from Fairplay the night before this horse show and my granddaughter Mattie fell in love with her. They went into three classes and placed first all three times. Thanks Lynn!!!

Lynn,
thought you might like to see a picture of me with Sugar.  As soon as I can, I'll get a better one of me in the saddle.

She's doing very well.  With regular grooming, she's rapidly losing losing her winter coat and her new coat is coming in and the hair is growing in all those spots.  Took our 3 youngest grandchildren to meet her Easter Sunday.  The twins, just 8, love horses but we didn't know how the youngest, just 2, would act, but she followed right along with her "big" sisters.  We actually gave them a ride on one of Beth's horses who is used to little ones riding her.  We just let each of them, including the two year old, sit in the saddle while we led Miss Winter around the yard.  They loved it.  Beth wants to give them some lessons.  Sugar was out in the yard grazing while we were giving the girls their ride.  Sugar didn't seem to have a problem with the girls being around her.  We taught them the basic rules about being around horses but even while Sugar was eating her grain, they were petting her and she didn't mind at all.  She's a very sweet horse.

Hope all is well with you, Mike and your boys, and of course all the horses.

Hi Lynn,

It's been a little over 3 years since I bought Prissy from you.  I just wanted to send you an e-mail w/pic (and brag on her just a tiny bit).  She is a true joy and we have enjoyed her ever since we brought her home.  She has turned into quite a show horse and has just come into her own this past show season, taking Grand Champions and Firsts in WP classes at open shows.  Also, we have become Water Glass Champions.  This is where you have a glass of water and must walk, trot and back up.  The object is to have the most water in your glass at the end of the class.  My gaited friends can't believe "a trotting horse" can win this class every time.

My son, who is autistic rides her too. She is so careful with him.  And, she has restored confidence in my daughter's riding ability.  She shows her too.  So, we truly have a family horse here.

I was wondering if you had any back information on her.  I would LOVE to know who trained her.  She is trained so well.  No need for spurs and she is very responsive.  Turns on a dime.  If you have any of that information, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Lynn
OMG!!! We love Dollar. He and Honey get along great! He is the best horse ever!
Wow he gets dirty though! always covered in mud and rolling around! We still
haven't got any training but take them on trail rides weekly. They both are fine
leading or following and even Jeremy rides Dollar! We put them out in the yard
when we are home to "cut the grass" and they just hang out!
I see that you were able to sell Dinky! That is awsome! I hope his new owner is
happy with him, we loved him but just not experienced enough to handle. Thank
you for taking the time and getting him to a good home!
We are in heaven and living the dream. Will definitely recommend Fairplay and
call you for our next horse... someday! By the way, love the tie on halter!!!
Thanks again, come anytime for a visit!

We bought an Appaloosa mare from you about 4 1/2 years age. We are retired Law Enforcement. We bought Crickett and she is the best horse, she's the babysitter to our weanlings and settles others down by just being herself. I dress her in Indian custom, large elk hide, turkey feathers and a little horse paint, with only braided hackamore, I ride her to the festifull in Vidalia. Even the blue angels don't phase her. WE'VE been wanting to come up but everything is sold.  Kathy Ginter& Billy Hester in Vidalia, GA

Hi Lynn,
Just a question about Motion.  He is a wonderful horse and I am interested in finding out more about him.  I didn’t get to talk to you when I bought him.  It’s been a while but I wondered what you could tell me.  Also, I remember reading that he gaited by verbal commands and I just use my legs to get him to gait.  Would love to know what they are.  Still love looking at your site.  Have a small grandson who will be ready for a pony in a few years.  Penny Ashton

Hi Lynn,

We bought Sky from you back in December. I wanted to send you pictures of his first horse show with my daughter Angelina. Please pass along to previous owners that we love him sooo much and he is perfect for my daughter. If you recall he did not like to move for children, we figured it out all you have to do is ask ,no spurs and keep talking to him.
Tell them I'm sorry but we changed his name to "Romeo" It was a pleasure buying a horse from you and if ever in need again ,You will be the first one I call.

I wanted to share some pictures I took today with the girls and their ponies.
Here is my daughter Grace with Miley, previously known as Misty Blue, the grey pony. They are doing so wonderfully, they have been winning in the beginner ring at the hunter shows and are dabbling a bit in dressage.

And Anna has a bay Welsh/TB cross pony who we call Cricket, we bought her from someone who got her from you, her name was Bit of Class before we bought her. She is another spectacular Fairplay pony! If you recognize her and know any background on her, we would love to hear about her.  Carri O'Toole __________________________________________________________________________________________________

Hello Lynn and All,

I meant to send you this photo at Christmas but got so busy with the Holidays that I completely forgot to do so.  As you can see, I love him dearly and he loves his new home.  He rides me around three or four times a week and gets carrots and lots of brushing.  We pick up the mail at the end of our long lane and mosey around in the woods and along the creek.  His slow rack is a pleasure and really covers ground.  I think he could go on forever but this “ole lady” gives out before he does.  He is a perfect gentleman.  He doesn’t seem lonely though he is the only horse for now.  Thank you for introducing us.  He and I will grow old together.  Penny Ashton – Rose Hill Farm – Camden, S.C.

Hi Lynn,
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Lynn and the staff of Fairplay.  We have purchased horses over the past few years and have been very happy with each one.  BUT, there has not been one that could compare with the wonderful horse they found for my son this past May.  After he lost his babysitter horse in Jan '08, we were worried we would never find him a horse that he would approve of.  We were worried that he wouldn't ride again after her death.  We were at Fairplay every few weekends and in May, Lynn found a horse that he approved of.  He got on her and wouldn't get off.  He has spent many hours this summer riding her.  She is the most absolute perfect horse.  Thank you, Lynn, for all the help.  You made one young man very happy.
P.S.  Jared sends a huge Thank you himself.

Hi Lynn-

I wanted to send you these photos of Regal, now dubbed Moakie by Abby, of his first day on the job.  Abby LOVES him, and he's such a good boy for her.  He wasn't happy about the velcro on the safe-t-seat, but he didn't panic, and he walked around like a pro.  We're going to be very happy with him.  :)

Thanks Lynn!

Hi! I know I have had Fable on alot of different sites for sale, but today she found her home. she is an awesome horse!!! I really didn't know what I had. we went to the chicamauga battlefield and they were practicing for the civil war stuff, cannons guns, deer jumped crossed water, went under a bridge with cars going over, never once did anything wrong. loped on cue, reins draped spur stopped I could just go on and on.I believe this horse has had alot of training. she was with a trainer for just a month and she is riding like a show horse, everything is coming back to her. and....she is bomb proof. she just doesn't spook. horses ran past her she never moved off till she was asked to do so. every one that saw her said how  beautiful she is, and I think I have finally found my horse. even though I have had her for a while. she really trusts me and I was so glad Tyler made me take her today. I no longer have any anxieties about her what so ever.  just wanted to let you know. I will be sending pics to put on your happy customers page. several people who had unruly horse today said if I ever sell her, there were many who said they would buy her on the spot. I gave 2 people your web site address. thanks again.

Jean

Just to drop you a line to let you know that I am truly in LOVE with Skip n East of Eden.  She is everything I dreamed of in a horse.  She is everything you and your girls told me she was.  I am so proud to call her mine.  Eden has to most wonderful personality and I love to hear her knicker at me when it is feeding time.  She has a buddy her name is Sarah.  Sarah is a black and white paint mare that is also 8.  They get along nicely.  She is happy.  THANKS for all and let the girls know Eden says "HI" and she is doing great.  Getting spoiled rotten.

Take care and GOD BLESS!!!

The palomino is Possum and the sorrel is Little Red.

Both were purchased from Fairplay.

Hi Lynn,
I Just wanted to tell you about Possum, He is the , will one of many great horses I have bought from your Farm over the past 6 or 7 years.I nolonger have him, my husband and I gave him to Cousins husband Scott, He is a cowboy from way back, has been fighting cancer of the brain now since Jan 2006, he is now legally blind in both eyes, but he can still go trial riding with his wife thanks to Possum, He is so great he will stand and let Scott bridle all alone by feel only sometimes he has even dropped the bridle and had to feel around on the ground under Possum to locate it , and the whole time Possum is standing loose off the halter just waiting on Scott, I would almost think the horse knows that Scott is at a bit of a handicap.

But I just wanted you to know what a blessing this horses has been to my family and it has given Scott so much joy. And even if it is only for one summer when fighting something as horrible as this battle of brain cancer has been, ever little joy is a God sent
Thank you
and my God continue to Bless you and Yours.
Ivy

Hi Lynn,

I have finally been able to get a couple of pictures of  Tazz. When Mr.T arrived I looked him in the eyes and decided to rename him Tazz. After he got off the trailer I saddled him up and went on a trailride with him. He's the most awesome horse ever! He's my baby! February 23rd I took him to Bankhead National forest on a 21 mile trailride and he was amazing. That day I decided to start training him for barrel racing.
Also my son can ride him with no problem at all, and Tazz rides double very well. I could not be any happier with this horse. I just wanted to say thank you!
Happy Trails,
Jennifer Gilliam
P.S. If I ever need anything else..another horse, trailer..I will be coming back and I will be recommending Fair Play Horse to other people! I can not thank you enough! The Pictures I have are of my son (Destin age:6) on Tazz, and there's one of me on Tazz that my son took but it didn't turn out so well. I will send more as I start taking more.

We will definitely be coming to you again for our next horse!

Hey Lynn, Just wanted to send you a photo of Sam again. Guess who has 'taken him over'...?  I keep a lead shank on him just to be sure, have started him going without one after we do a bit of trail riding on him. He paces out nice with mariah, have been trying for years to find one who could keep up with her at a walk....she is breeding stock paint with a high percentage of T.B. blood, hence the long legs and stride.
Keagan loves Sam, and insists he is HIS horse!!!
I have had no problems what so ever except perhaps some mischief....this morning the well inside the pasture had the cover off, it is a fake rock....that was on the back side of the pasture....no one recalled how it got there tho!  He can let Mariah out of her stall, reaching over his and flipping the latch...that has been changed!! He has been caught with two front feet in the water tub, it could go on and on....
My husband who is not a horse person has even been caught out there giving 'scratches'.
Soooo anyone out there with problems with you can get in touch with me. You did not recommend him for a five yr. old but the horse would never hurt him for the world. I think you was alittle cautious when discribing his personality to me but I would rather see that instead of the other way. (I haven't met up with his 'buck' yet, unless that was it the first day I rode him,lol if so, no problem!!)
Thanks again for letting me take him 'sight unseen', I am very glad you trusted me with him.
He will never leave here, unless for some unseen reason, then he is back to you and I trust you will find him another good home. Twy

Hi Lynn,

Just a note to let you know how much we have enjoyed Seeya over the years. We have owned her for five years and my children have learned to walk, trot canter and jump on her. We have taken her to hunter, dressage, eventing and pony club shows. Seeya has shined in everyone of them. Now that my kids are older we are going to sell Seeya to a help a new family learn all the basics. Thank you such a wonderful pony!

take care,

Hi Lynn,

It's a new year and I just wanted to drop you a quick line to update you about Chatta (I think your initial file called her Painted Angel).  When I last wrote you, I told you that Lauren was using her for games (relay races, pole bending, etc) and had fox hunted on her.  Now she has started jumping her and she is still as great as ever.  She seems to like to be busy and when she is idle or repeating the same task, she gets bored and naughty, but when you give her something new and challenging, she really gets into it and gives her all.  Even though she was not a jumper, she doesn't refuse to try.  This picture was Lauren's first time going over cross-rails at a Pony Club event.  Chatta did really well.  Unfortunately, Lauren's steering needed a tune up and she cut a turn too tight and fell off.  She immediately got up, defended Chatta (It really wasn't her fault Mom!) and got back on a did it again.  She even jumped an 18 inch vertical!  If you are still in touch with her former owner, please let her know that Chatta is doing great and is still a much loved, cherished, and well cared for (see how chubby she is!) member of our family.

Thank you so much for Chatta.  God bless you and keep you and your family!

Dear Lynn,
Thank you so much for the great horses! I and my family love both of them. Dolly is my horse because it was love at first sight, as you can see from the pic, and Pocahontas is more of the family horse. I have taught Dolly how to canter and gallop at a slow pace while Pocahontas has been learning how to run faster than her peaceful nature has let her in the past. Pocahontas is also known as the "Guest Horse" because of her peaceful nature and the way we put all of the inexperienced guests on her, whereas Dolly has earned herself the nickname "Fireball" because of her wild way of bossing Poky (Pocahontas' nickname) around. Dolly is literally a brick wall and wouldn't move even if a gun blasted right in front of her face whereas Poky would not be able to stand still if a gun went off and likes to ride behind Dolly more than riding alone. As I said before thank you so much for these awesome horses. We couldn't have asked for better ones!

Sincerely, the Barker family

Lynn,

Just wanted to let you know how very happy we have been with the horses we have gotten from you.

My husband absolutely loves Joker.  And as you can see from his picture - "Sam's A Joker" is perfectly named.  This horse is a clown!!

Paul and Bita Lucky Star                                Vickie's Remi

Lynn, I am way overdue on sending you these for your Happy Customer page, especially since you couldn't have any happier customers than we are.  Thank you so much for all your help in finding us the "right" horses. With both of us it was love at first sight, Paul fell for Bita the first day he rode her, and I fell in love with Remy when he followed me around the round pen, without reins!  They are just perfect for us, and the help and advice and care for our horses we have gotten at Fairplay has been just wonderful.

Hi I just wanted to let you know how well my and my horse Roxie i bought from you, I renamed her   you called her cookie and her full name was Mrs.Docks Cookie Bar.  Roxie is a great horse wonderful I also had bough a black pony from you named Scobby he turned out to be wonderful too but I had out grew him and we traded him in for Roxie.

Hi Lynn,

I figure it was time to check in; and let you know how happy we are
with paint splash!
She's gone through several name changes this last week.
Finally Chloe was able to come up with a name that had
no influence from that pesky teenage sister of hers, so
the pony has ended up as Pixie Stardust   aka "Pixie"
And it does seem to fit her.
Pixie just loves Chloe and Chloe can catch her any time;
Pixie is actually starting to greet/meet her at the gate of her stall.
She's also slowly deciding my husbands ok too; just quietly timid is
what we are finding out; but always always the absolute lady about things.
Chloe's climbing all over her more each day as we leadline and pixie is
very patient about it all.  The more we handle her - the more relaxed lazy
she becomes - just as a good kids pony should be.  ;-)
We took her yesterday for her vet check.  Went great!
And she's got a great dressage trot - no gaited business.
And the vet just adored her personality -
So Pixie has a home with us!  Please deposit my checks and
if ever I need to add on to my pony herd - I will definitely check in
with you - you pick them well!
Thanks

Dear Lynn and everyone at Fairplay,

It has been almost 3 years ago when we first came to Fairplay looking for a pony for my 6 year old daughter.   Not only did we find my daughter's wonderful pony, Princess, but I also found my champion (at least in my heart), Amigo.  Lynn even had a trailer that we bought.  Amigo and Princess were soon joined by another Fairplay horse and pony, Kool and Libby. Well, we needed a bigger trailer and Lynn had just what we were looking for.  We also needed more land.  Lynn reccomended that we look in Carroll county and we found our new farm with plenty of room.  Last Fall we made another trip to Fairplay and purchased Mike the Mule.  He is an incredible, gorgeous animal.  Princess and Mike did not see eye to eye (11hands high versus 17.2 hands high), so after a few months Mike went back to Fairplay.  We very recently purchased Duchess from Fairplay and she is such a sweetheart.  My daughter has long outgrown Princess and is looking forward to showing Duchess.

Lynn has always been very honest and fair with us.  She has been a great help in finding vets and farriers.  She is willing to share her knowledge about horses and their care.  She wants the best for the horses she sells and for their new owners.

Thanks for all six of the horses we have bought from Fairplay, they have brought us many happy memories and have been great companions and we are looking forward to a great future with them.

Hi Lynn--

I just wanted to give you an update on Bird.  You may recall that I purchased him from you back in February.  Positively everyone that comes in contact with him absolutely raves about what a wonderful horse he is.  He is such a people-loving animal and so well behaved that he instantly brings a response from everyone.  The other day I was grooming him while the farrier was at the barn working on other horses.  He wasn't scheduled for shoes until the next day.  The farrier asked me if I wouldn't mind hanging around for a bit to see if he could get to Bird that day.   After I had finished grooming Bird, we just stood there and I was stroking his neck while he lightly rested his head on my shoulder.  About 10 minutes later, I noticed his head was getting heavier and heavier.  He had dozed off.  Talk about a laid back horse!  So sweet.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying him.

Hey Lynn

I just wanted to send you a few pictures of me and Bandit.
He's such a good horse and he fits in perfectly over at the barn. All of the horses love him. He's so smart and willing to learn. He's getting really good at barrels too.
Thanks for a great horse.

It all started with a magazine ad for one of the horses for sale at the
farm.  We had been looking for a nice calm Quarter Horse with some show
experience as we have really enjoyed getting into that part of horses.
Your helpful staff directed us to Prissy.  Prissy was everything we
could have asked for.  We feel safe riding her and she is so well
trained for her 3 years!

Prissy went to her first horse show with us and earned ribbons in
every class she was entered into.  And we only had her for 3 weeks!

We were impressed with the trial period and follow-up provided after
we brought her home.  Your staff listened as we described what we were
looking for in a horse and knew just the right one to suggest.

We most certainly would buy another horse from your farm and have
suggested that others visit as well.  Thanks from another happy family.

Hello!

I saw your note, and just wanted you to know that little Charlie is a
delight!  I've got him in a little field with one other pony, so he has
a buddy AND he has lost all that extra weight (now he is only a little
butter-ball-ish).

My 5 year old can ride him by herself in the lunge ring (at a walk).  He
has also delighted many young visitors with his quiet gentle nature.
And he's been completely healthy and sound.

Thanks again for working with me back when we were looking at him.  He's
such a little blessing, and I expect he will have a special role here at
TEC for the next 20 or so years!

Sincerely,

Kelly Rodriguez

Hi Lynn!  Just wanted you to know that I just couldn't be happier with this
horse!  She is an awesome ride!  I finally got a chance to ride her
yesterday, and she just rode off like a 12 yr old trail horse!  She's really
sweet and I'm sure I'll have lots of fun with her on the trails around here.
Thank you all for a great experience with the sale and will come back in the
future if I'm in the market again!

Hey Lynn,

Here are the pictures(finally, huh) of Yogi,Skipper, and Benny.  They are getting along very well together.  Yogi has actually almost turned into a light bay(light cooper color) for the summer, which is beautiful!  I really like the feeling of having people come over and ride with us and trust the horses they are on.

Thanks again,

Hi Lynn,
Just wanted you to know we still have Naahla Nightcharm our 10 year old Arabian Mare we bought from you in '05 for our little girl, Alexa.  As you can see she is wonderful and we're really glad we kept her.  Alexa has regained her confidence and I got my own horse, a spotted saddlehorse from Dee Jones.
I hope you and yours are well and healthy.  I think of you often with fondness and gratitude.

Lynn,

Just wanted to send a couple of pictures of Mako and Sly.  The kids were in
a show a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. Hannah got 5 ribbons on Sly
and Zachary won one on Mako. We have moved both of them over to Mom's new
house in Colbert.

It is hard to believe we got Sly from you almost 4 years ago this July!!!
Thanks for all you do.  It is hard to find someone as committed to helping
find the right riders for the right horses!

Hope y'all are doing well.  I can see through the pictures that the kids are
getting big.  Take care.

Dodger (now Palo) in Texas!

Hi Lynn:

I went out and saw Dodger(now Palo) for the first time, what a cutie he is and very sweet. He’s making a good adjustment, only had one scrape from the shipping, which got Corona Ointment today. Turned him out in a small paddock to stretch his legs. The equine dentist board at this place too and said his teeth look good. Thanks again. It’s always a little risky when you buy site un seen. You were very honest about him, represented him exactly as he is, and I couldn’t be happier. I’d definitely buy from you again!

Thanks for everything,

Ann (In Texas)

Cash or (Yankee Doodle) that is what Cole named him is just the best little horse! We went to a local show this past weekend and Cole rode him all over the place. He also beat his big brother in the walk trot class with him. His confidence is soaring now. We trail rode yesterday evening and Yankee handle great. He is truly BOMB PROOF!

Jesse has been wonderful!  He absolutely loves people and attention, and is great with the kids.  My daughter and I just came in from a trail ride through the woods, back to more kids at home.  Jesse was just as willing as could be to lower his head and let them all pet and scratch him and walk them around the yard.  He has been the perfect fit for our family!   I plan on coming  back to Fairplay to find the perfect horse for my son this year.   Thanks, Lisa Jackson

Dear Lynn,
Just sending you a not so great picture of Wobe and i on a trail ride with some friends.  The nearly two years  that I've had him he and i have probably done hundreds of miles of trails.  I'm so happy that you found him for us.  He's just the thing for an old lady who intends to keep on trail riding til she drops.
We bonded right away and I think he loves me as much as I love him. I feel perfectly safe to trail ride with him alone and often Wobe and I take off for a glorious day of just us!!

Thank you so much, you are greatly appreciated.

Hi Lynn,

Another year gone by! Just wanted to say again how much the family has enjoyed Mr. O’Reilly.

I came to you 2 yrs ago with my niece. We both had minimum riding experience. We needed a horse that was SAFE, KIND, no bad habits.

Kate’s father is a Kentucky Colonel and has seen some bad behaved horses in his lifetime. If I had bought a horse that could possibly

Hurt Kate her father would hate me.  Mr. O’Reilly wasn’t the prettiest horse at your farm nor the youngest. However;

He is a confidence builder and has become apart of the family.  Even though we don’t ride him much he is a family pet.

He has a soft mouth, hard hooves, is a easy keep, never lame, never bucked or kicked or cribbed.  Low in the pecking order.

Similar to a dog personality and willing.  He can have the slowest walk on trail, but a good gas petal and good breaks.

He doesn’t kick at my dogs, and my sisters seven year old feeds him carrots.

My sister feels confident that Mr. O’Reilly will never cause her any liability on her farm.

Mr. O’Reilly is always a keeper.

I would buy from you again because I got a horse that I have no problems keeping the rest of my life.

I am also watching your website for a trailer. I purchased a truck to haul a trailer now I am close to buying one.

I still watch your website.

Thanks!

Hi, Lynn!

I bought Chatta from you in July and wanted to give you a quick update.  Lauren is totally in love with Chatta and Chatta has been there and done that alot since we brought her home.  Lauren has competed on Chatta in a tetrathalon where she had to jump cross rails (10 obstacles in all) and opened a swing gate while mounted.   Chatta was a real trooper, crossing all of the jumps with a totally green rider without hesitation and earning a Blue Ribbon-1st Place for Beginner Novice.  What a wonderful girl!  She will stand tied all day long without complaint-practically loads herself in the trailer.  She is very easy to groom, clip, bath, tack and she picks up her feet very well so Lauren, who's eight, can do all this herself.  Lauren and Chatta also trained with the games team of our local pony club and really excelled at pole bending and relay racing.  They went on their first fox hunt (a mock drag hunt) this weekend and everyone fell in love with Chatta.  I cannot thank you enough for your honesty--a refreshing change in a world where people will say anything to sell a horse, you actually err'd on the side of caution with Chatta - underselling her instead of overselling her.  She was all that you said and more.  I think you said you broke her.  I have never seen a nicer all around pony- kudos on an excellent job.  I am trying to send you a picture of Chatta and Lauren at Saturdays Aiken Hounds Children's Meet at Hitchcock Woods.  Obviously Chatta has earned her place of honor at our farm.  THANK YOU!

Merry Christmas!
Signed, a very very satisfied customer,

Kim Rapp

This is Hrr SOLO Debut(cloudy)and Bar O' Bear(cisco). Both came from Fairplay and are wonderful trail and companion horses. We love them dearly> thanks Lynn for matching us up to a compatible companion. Bar O' Bear was sold from Fairplay to an individual that we bought him from but we still consider him Fairplay stock. He is a good safe ride and he was sold to our friend who sold him to us later. We couldn't ask for better horses.
