Wow!
We've collected so many "Happy Customer Notes" in such a short time! We had to rebuild the page after losing our old Happy Customer page due to a web site crash.

Lynn,
We bought Prince aka "Northern Lite" from you in January after our
daughter, Abby, lost her horse, Ruby. When he was delivered, it was so
wonderful to see the light back in Abby's eyes. We renamed him Prince
because he is treated like one and looks so regal when he trots. Thank
you so much for the opportunity to work with you. Prince has been a
delight to have and has brought so much joy to everyone. He is gaining
weight. looking good, and has taken his place in the "pecking order" at
the farm, (Trust me, he has placed himself pretty high up!) Abby is
planning to take him to camp with her this summer.
Thank you again for all you did for us. We will be looking to purchase
another horse very soon, and will be coming back to you.

Dear Lynn, I just had to share some photos from today. Mr Wiggles (Scout) is my dream pony. He is absolutely awesome. I just cannot thank you enough for working with me so I could purchase him. He is more than I had ever hoped for. I may try to enter him in a few local shows this spring to see how we do. :) There are some photos of my kids on Tonto, too - we all rode yesterday and today and the kids didn't want to get off. This is a first and I hope it continues. It has always been my dream to share my passion for horses with my children....I think they may finally be catching the horsie bug. :).
Many, many thank yous - we purchased both of these wonderful ponies from you and I continue to tell my horse friends about you.
God Bless, Virginia Wilson

Hi Lynn!! My son and I rode the ponies today. I lunged Mr. Wiggles (Scout) first, then climbed on. He was good, but as you put it, "spunky." Nothing bad, I think he wanted to run and play rather than be worked. We only walked today; tried some leg yields - and he actually did them! Too wet, cold and windy to do much else. I am in love though - I believe he is perfect for us. We are VERY happy repeats!!
Thank you again for everything,
Virginia

Hi Lynn OMG!!! We love Dollar. He and Honey get along great! He is the best horse ever! Wow he gets dirty though! always covered in mud and rolling around! We still haven't got any training but take them on trail rides weekly. They both are fine leading or following and even Jeremy rides Dollar! We put them out in the yard when we are home to "cut the grass" and they just hang out! I see that you were able to sell Dinky! That is awsome! I hope his new owner is happy with him, we loved him but just not experienced enough to handle. Thank you for taking the time and getting him to a good home! We are in heaven and living the dream. Will definitely recommend Fairplay and call you for our next horse... someday! By the way, love the tie on halter!!! Thanks again, come anytime for a visit! Mike & Lynne Putnam

I wanted to share some pictures I took today with the girls
and their ponies.
Here is my daughter Grace with Miley, previously known as Misty Blue, the grey
pony. They are doing so wonderfully, they have been winning in the beginner ring
at the hunter shows and are dabbling a bit in dressage.
And Anna has a bay Welsh/TB cross pony who we call Cricket, we bought her from
someone who got her from you, her name was Bit of Class before we bought her.
She is another spectacular Fairplay pony! If you recognize her and know any
background on her, we would love to hear about her. Carri O'Toole

Hello Lynn and All,
I meant to send you this photo at Christmas but got so busy with the Holidays that I completely forgot to do so. As you can see, I love him dearly and he loves his new home. He rides me around three or four times a week and gets carrots and lots of brushing. We pick up the mail at the end of our long lane and mosey around in the woods and along the creek. His slow rack is a pleasure and really covers ground. I think he could go on forever but this “ole lady” gives out before he does. He is a perfect gentleman. He doesn’t seem lonely though he is the only horse for now. Thank you for introducing us. He and I will grow old together. Penny Ashton – Rose Hill Farm – Camden, S.C.

Hi! I know I have had Fable on alot of different sites for sale, but today she found her home. she is an awesome horse!!! I really didn't know what I had. we went to the chicamauga battlefield and they were practicing for the civil war stuff, cannons guns, deer jumped crossed water, went under a bridge with cars going over, never once did anything wrong. loped on cue, reins draped spur stopped I could just go on and on.I believe this horse has had alot of training. she was with a trainer for just a month and she is riding like a show horse, everything is coming back to her. and....she is bomb proof. she just doesn't spook. horses ran past her she never moved off till she was asked to do so. every one that saw her said how beautiful she is, and I think I have finally found my horse. even though I have had her for a while. she really trusts me and I was so glad Tyler made me take her today. I no longer have any anxieties about her what so ever. just wanted to let you know. I will be sending pics to put on your happy customers page. several people who had unruly horse today said if I ever sell her, there were many who said they would buy her on the spot. I gave 2 people your web site address. thanks again.

Just to drop
you a line to let you know that I am truly in LOVE with Skip n East of Eden.
She is everything I dreamed of in a horse. She is everything you and your girls
told me she was. I am so proud to call her mine. Eden has to most wonderful
personality and I love to hear her knicker at me when it is feeding time. She
has a buddy her name is Sarah. Sarah is a black and white paint mare that is
also 8. They get along nicely. She is happy. THANKS for all and let the girls
know Eden says "HI" and she is doing great. Getting spoiled rotten.
Take care and GOD BLESS!!!

The palomino is Possum and the sorrel is Little Red.
Both were purchased from Fairplay.
Hi Lynn,
I Just wanted to tell you about Possum, He is the , will one of many great
horses I have bought from your Farm over the past 6 or 7 years.I nolonger have
him, my husband and I gave him to Cousins husband Scott, He is a cowboy from way
back, has been fighting cancer of the brain now since Jan 2006, he is now
legally blind in both eyes, but he can still go trial riding with his wife
thanks to Possum, He is so great he will stand and let Scott bridle all alone by
feel only sometimes he has even dropped the bridle and had to feel around on the
ground under Possum to locate it , and the whole time Possum is standing loose
off the halter just waiting on Scott, I would almost think the horse knows that
Scott is at a bit of a handicap.
But I just wanted you to know what a blessing this horses has been to my family
and it has given Scott so much joy. And even if it is only for one summer when
fighting something as horrible as this battle of brain cancer has been, ever
little joy is a God sent
Thank you
and my God continue to Bless you and Yours.

Hi Lynn,
It's a new year and I just wanted to
drop you a quick line to update you about Chatta (I think your initial file
called her Painted Angel). When I last wrote you, I told you that Lauren was
using her for games (relay races, pole bending, etc) and had fox hunted on her.
Now she has started jumping her and she is still as great as ever. She seems
to like to be busy and when she is idle or repeating the same task, she gets
bored and naughty, but when you give her something new and challenging, she
really gets into it and gives her all. Even though she was not a jumper, she
doesn't refuse to try. This picture was Lauren's first time going over
cross-rails at a Pony Club event. Chatta did really well. Unfortunately,
Lauren's steering needed a tune up and she cut a turn too tight and fell off.
She immediately got up, defended Chatta (It really wasn't her fault Mom!) and
got back on a did it again. She even jumped an 18 inch vertical! If you are
still in touch with her former owner, please let her know that Chatta is doing
great and is still a much loved, cherished, and well cared for (see how chubby
she is!) member of our family.
Thank you so much for Chatta. God bless
you and keep you and your family!

Dear Lynn,
Thank you so much for the great horses! I and my family love both of them.
Dolly is my horse because it was love at first sight, as you can see from the
pic, and Pocahontas is more of the family horse. I have taught Dolly how to
canter and gallop at a slow pace while Pocahontas has been learning how to run
faster than her peaceful nature has let her in the past. Pocahontas is also
known as the "Guest Horse" because of her peaceful nature and the way we put all
of the inexperienced guests on her, whereas Dolly has earned herself the
nickname "Fireball" because of her wild way of bossing Poky (Pocahontas'
nickname) around. Dolly is literally a brick wall and wouldn't move even if a
gun blasted right in front of her face whereas Poky would not be able to stand
still if a gun went off and likes to ride behind Dolly more than riding alone.
As I said before thank you so much for these awesome horses. We couldn't have
asked for better ones!
Sincerely, the Barker family

Hi Lynn,
I figure it was time to check in; and let you know how happy we are
with paint splash!
She's gone through several name changes this last week.
Finally Chloe was able to come up with a name that had
no influence from that pesky teenage sister of hers, so
the pony has ended up as Pixie Stardust aka "Pixie"
And it does seem to fit her.
Pixie just loves Chloe and Chloe can catch her any time;
Pixie is actually starting to greet/meet her at the gate of her stall.
She's also slowly deciding my husbands ok too; just quietly timid is
what we are finding out; but always always the absolute lady about things.
Chloe's climbing all over her more each day as we leadline and pixie is
very patient about it all. The more we handle her - the more relaxed lazy
she becomes - just as a good kids pony should be. ;-)
We took her yesterday for her vet check. Went great!
And she's got a great dressage trot - no gaited business.
And the vet just adored her personality -
So Pixie has a home with us! Please deposit my checks and
if ever I need to add on to my pony herd - I will definitely check in
with you - you pick them well!
Thanks

Hi Lynn--
I just wanted to give you an update
on Bird. You may recall that I purchased him from you back in February.
Positively everyone that comes in contact with him absolutely raves about what a
wonderful horse he is. He is such a people-loving animal and so well behaved
that he instantly brings a response from everyone. The other day I was grooming
him while the farrier was at the barn working on other horses. He wasn't
scheduled for shoes until the next day. The farrier asked me if I wouldn't mind
hanging around for a bit to see if he could get to Bird that day. After I had
finished grooming Bird, we just stood there and I was stroking his neck while he
lightly rested his head on my shoulder. About 10 minutes later, I noticed his
head was getting heavier and heavier. He had dozed off. Talk about a laid back
horse! So sweet.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying him.

It all started with a magazine ad for one of
the horses for sale at the
farm. We had been looking for a nice calm Quarter Horse with some show
experience as we have really enjoyed getting into that part of horses.
Your helpful staff directed us to Prissy. Prissy was everything we
could have asked for. We feel safe riding her and she is so well
trained for her 3 years!
Prissy went to her first horse show with us and earned ribbons in
every class she was entered into. And we only had her for 3 weeks!
We were impressed with the trial period and follow-up provided after
we brought her home. Your staff listened as we described what we were
looking for in a horse and knew just the right one to suggest.
We most certainly would buy another horse from your farm and have
suggested that others visit as well. Thanks from another happy family.

Hello!
I saw your note, and just wanted you to know that little Charlie is a
delight! I've got him in a little field with one other pony, so he has
a buddy AND he has lost all that extra weight (now he is only a little
butter-ball-ish).
My 5 year old can ride him by herself in the lunge ring (at a walk). He
has also delighted many young visitors with his quiet gentle nature.
And he's been completely healthy and sound.
Thanks again for working with me back when we were looking at him. He's
such a little blessing, and I expect he will have a special role here at
TEC for the next 20 or so years!
Sincerely,
Kelly Rodriguez

Just wanted to send a couple of pictures of Mako and Sly. The kids were in
a show a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. Hannah got 5 ribbons on Sly
and Zachary won one on Mako. We have moved both of them over to Mom's new

It is hard to believe we got Sly from you almost 4 years ago this July!!!
Thanks for all you do. It is hard to find someone as committed to helping
find the right riders for the right horses!
Hope y'all are doing well. I can see through the pictures that the kids are
getting big. Take care.

Dodger (now
Palo) in Texas!
Hi Lynn:
I went out and saw Dodger(now Palo) for the first time, what a cutie he is and very sweet. He’s making a good adjustment, only had one scrape from the shipping, which got Corona Ointment today. Turned him out in a small paddock to stretch his legs. The equine dentist board at this place too and said his teeth look good. Thanks again. It’s always a little risky when you buy site un seen. You were very honest about him, represented him exactly as he is, and I couldn’t be happier. I’d definitely buy from you again!
Thanks for everything,

Jesse has been wonderful! He absolutely loves people and attention, and is great with the kids. My daughter and I just came in from a trail ride through the woods, back to more kids at home. Jesse was just as willing as could be to lower his head and let them all pet and scratch him and walk them around the yard. He has been the perfect fit for our family! I plan on coming back to Fairplay to find the perfect horse for my son this year. Thanks, Lisa Jackson

Hi Lynn,
Another year gone by! Just wanted to say again how much the family has enjoyed Mr. O’Reilly.
I came to you 2 yrs ago with my niece. We both had minimum riding experience. We needed a horse that was SAFE, KIND, no bad habits.
Kate’s father is a Kentucky Colonel and has seen some bad behaved horses in his lifetime. If I had bought a horse that could possibly
Hurt Kate her father would hate me. Mr. O’Reilly wasn’t the prettiest horse at your farm nor the youngest. However;
He is a confidence builder and has become apart of the family. Even though we don’t ride him much he is a family pet.
He has a soft mouth, hard hooves, is a easy keep, never lame, never bucked or kicked or cribbed. Low in the pecking order.
Similar to a dog personality and willing. He can have the slowest walk on trail, but a good gas petal and good breaks.
He doesn’t kick at my dogs, and my sisters seven year old feeds him carrots.
My sister feels confident that Mr. O’Reilly will never cause her any liability on her farm.
Mr. O’Reilly is always a keeper.
I would buy from you again because I got a horse that I have no problems keeping the rest of my life.
I am also watching your website for a trailer. I purchased a truck to haul a trailer now I am close to buying one.
I still watch your website.
Thanks!

Hi, Lynn!
I bought Chatta from you in July and wanted to
give you a quick update. Lauren is totally in love with Chatta and Chatta has
been there and done that alot since we brought her home. Lauren has competed on
Chatta in a tetrathalon where she had to jump cross rails (10 obstacles in all)
and opened a swing gate while mounted. Chatta was a real trooper, crossing all
of the jumps with a totally green rider without hesitation and earning a Blue
Ribbon-1st Place for Beginner Novice. What a wonderful girl! She will stand
tied all day long without complaint-practically loads herself in the trailer.
She is very easy to groom, clip, bath, tack and she picks up her feet very well
so Lauren, who's eight, can do all this herself. Lauren and Chatta also trained
with the games team of our local pony club and really excelled at pole bending
and relay racing. They went on their first fox hunt (a mock drag hunt) this
weekend and everyone fell in love with Chatta. I cannot thank you enough for
your honesty--a refreshing change in a world where people will say anything to
sell a horse, you actually err'd on the side of caution with Chatta -
underselling her instead of overselling her. She was all that you said and
more. I think you said you broke her. I have never seen a nicer all around
pony- kudos on an excellent job. I am trying to send you a picture of Chatta
and Lauren at Saturdays Aiken Hounds Children's Meet at Hitchcock Woods.
Obviously Chatta has earned her place of honor at our farm. THANK YOU!
Merry Christmas!
Signed, a very very satisfied customer,
Kim Rapp
